While user reviews can be helpful, they shouldn’t be taken as gospel. What one person considers a negative experience, another might view as a positive one.
In the past, sportsbooks were only legal in Nevada and a few other states. However, this changed in 2018 when the Supreme Court allowed US states to legalize sports betting. Today, there are more than 20 states that have legal sportsbooks. Some of these offer online sports betting as well.
In addition to traditional sports betting, many sportsbooks offer over/under bets. These bets are based on the general public’s perception of how many points or goals a team will score in a game. Usually, the over/under bets are slightly lower than the actual total score. This is because sportsbooks adjust the odds of the over/under bets to attract equal action on both sides of the bet.
